But you're right, you shouldn't rely on it as your <em>only </em>method, it's just a back-up. Save to your hard drive, auto back-up to Dropbox or similar and at the end of the day, you can make an additional copy to a thumb drive. I'm guilty of not backing up as often as I should and use a memory stick. This sounds like a great alternative, especially if it updates as you change documents. Great post and great advice.
